Peter is a senior consultant at Maritime IQ with decades of experience in maritime operations, shipbroking, and vessel valuation. He began his maritime career in the Merchant Navy, coming ashore after serving as Chief Officer, having completing tertiary studies in maritime affairs. After working in the ports industry and then a major shipowner he went to  work with the global shipbroking leader Clarksons, after which he transitioned to SeaBoats.

Peter brings extensive expertise in management and operations of commercial vessels, with a particular focus on large ship operations. His consulting background spans contract negotiations, offshore asset deals, tug operations, and large-scale commercial vessel transactions. He also provides strategic advice on maritime logistics and fleet planning for bulk deliveries. Peter also has valuable experience working terminal operations, budgeting, and labor management.

Currently, Peter leads and mentors a team at SeaBoats, Maritime IQ’s sister organization, supporting the sale and purchase of vessels throughout Oceania. 

Peter holds advanced academic credentials in both Business Administration and Maritime Studies.
